The Impact Collab was founded on Gadigal land, part of the Eora Nation — land that was never ceded.
We honour the Traditional Custodians of this land, and all First Nations peoples across the Countries our founders join us from, both in so-called Australia and Aotearoa, New Zealand. We pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and recognise the enduring connection that First Nations communities hold to Country, culture, knowledge and community.
As a collective of impact-led founders, we’re guided by values that have long existed here — connection, sustainability, and shared care for people and place. We believe these ways of being are central to our work, and we acknowledge the deep wisdom and leadership First Nations peoples continue to bring to them.
For those First Nations people who read this today, we stand with you in the Voice, the Treaty and the Truth processes. We’ll continue to walk with you in solidarity for as many years as it takes, and until every last gap has been closed. For your fight for justice is also our fight for justice, and we want to keep you absolutely central to our purpose as a sector.
We hold a strong belief that there can be no true purpose economy unless First Nations peoples are at the centre of it and we warmly welcome First Nations founders, changemakers and leaders to the Impact Fam. Scholarships are available, and our circle is always open.
The only way forward is together — through truth, through listening, and through justice.
