1. Introduction

These Membership Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Impact Collab ("The IC", "we", "us", "our"), operated in Australia. By applying to join, becoming a member, or using our website and member portal, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About The Impact Collab

The IC is a curated membership community for purpose-led consultants, coaches, service providers and fractional leaders. Membership is personal to you and your business. It is not transferable without our written consent.

We cap membership at 150 active members to preserve depth and trust in the community.

3. Joining

Membership is invite-based. Most people begin by joining the Community Waitlist or registering interest through our website. We review applications and, if there is a mutual fit, invite you to a conversation and onboarding process before full membership is offered.

We may decline an application or end a membership where we reasonably consider the community is not the right fit, or where these Terms are not met.

4. Membership plans and fees

4.1 Fees. Membership fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD). Current plans and prices are shown on our Membership page and at checkout. Fees are charged in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or quarterly, as selected).

4.2 Billing. By subscribing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method on each billing date until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current.

4.3 Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before increasing your recurring fee. Continuing membership after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fee.

4.4 Taxes. Prices include GST where applicable unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellation, pausing and refunds

5.1 Your cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the member portal billing page or by using the contact form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You retain access until that period ends.

5.2 Notice. Please give us at least 7 days' notice before your next billing date if you wish to avoid being charged for the following period.

5.3 Refunds. Membership fees are generally non-refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period.

5.4 Our cancellation. We may suspend or cancel your membership immediately if you breach these Terms (especially the conduct rules), if payment fails and is not remedied, or if continued membership would harm the community.

5.5 Pausing. Pausing may be available in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. Pausing is not available while you sponsor a Global Goalie seat or, for Expert members, during an active Expert Pod hosting cycle.

6. Community conduct

The IC works because members treat each other with respect. You agree to:

  • participate in good faith and keep confidential what others share in confidence;
  • not use the community primarily as a sales or lead-generation channel;
  • not harass, discriminate against, or demean other members;
  • comply with applicable laws in your use of community platforms (including Slack and Luma).

We may remove content, restrict access, or end membership where conduct puts members or the community at risk.

7. Sessions, pods and events

7.1 Programming. The IC offers community programming including Foundation Pods, Expert Pods, connection formats and events. Details, schedules and booking are managed through Luma and the member portal unless we tell you otherwise.

7.2 Recordings. Foundation Pod sessions may be recorded and made available to members for a limited period (currently up to six months). Expert Pods, weekly yarns and co-working sessions are not recorded unless we explicitly say so.

7.3 Attendance. Some sessions have limited capacity or application requirements. Failure to attend a booked session without reasonable notice may affect future booking privileges.

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Our materials. The Impact Architect Framework™, diagnostic tools, workbooks, session materials, website content and branding remain our intellectual property (or our licensors'). They are licensed to you for your personal use in your own business while you are a member. You must not resell, republish, white-label or commercially redistribute them.

8.2 Your content. You retain ownership of content you create. By sharing content in the community, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate the community (for example, displaying a testimonial you submit with your consent).

8.3 Feedback. Suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

9. Third-party platforms

Membership includes access to third-party services such as Slack, Luma and Zoom. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes to those services.

10. Disclaimers and liability

10.1 Not professional advice. Community sessions, peer discussions, resources and materials are for general information and peer support only. They are not financial, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. You are responsible for obtaining advice suited to your circumstances.

10.2 No income guarantees. We do not guarantee any particular business, income or client outcome from membership.

10.3 Limitation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your membership is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10.4 Consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the current version on this page and, for material changes, notify active members by email or through the portal. Continued membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Before commencing formal proceedings, please contact us through the contact form so we can try to resolve the matter in good faith.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any membership-specific communications we send you, form the entire agreement about your membership.
